Jennifer’s biography on OHA’s website

Jennifer is a native Oregonian and a tireless senior advocate. She began her career in healthcare at the early age of fifteen while working in an assisted living facility as a part-time housekeeper. During this time, she quickly realized that the impact to daily lives really changed her and helped shape her desire to make a difference in senior care. When she was of age she became a caregiver, and from there went on to administer medications while continuing to grow her interest in senior care and nursing.

Jennifer moved to Ohio where she attended nursing school and met her husband during this time. She worked in multiple industries while there, experiencing home health and skilled nursing while obtaining her CNA and continued schooling. Being promoted in her home health organization to the Therapy Department Manager she discovered that she had a profound ability in leadership. Combining her love for long term care and leadership, she moved back home to Oregon with her family and sought to become a leader in the long-term care community. She worked as a Social Services director and a Business Office Manager in a skilled nursing community before becoming a Licensed Residential Care Facility Administrator.

Jennifer has a profound passion for long term care and what it means to truly be an advocate for those in this protected class. She takes pride in sacrifice for the service of others.

Jennifer lives in Eagle Point with her husband and three children and enjoys all that our beautiful Southern Oregon has to offer. She loves the outdoors and feels most at home when she is out enjoying them. Jennifer looks forward to being part of this board and is honored to be amongst the other amazing members working towards the goal of a better tomorrow.
